Adam Olivieri

Adam is an instructor at Bay-Mountain Martial Arts. He has been teaching martial arts since 2003 years. He started his martial arts training while an undergraduate at the University of Connecticut in the early 1970's in Shotokan karate, earning a green belt before graduating. He started training again under Sensei Adrian in 1999 and holds the rank of Nidan 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kempo Karate. His training under Sensei Adrian also included Arnis Kombaton and Mano-Mano Pilipino stick fighting where he attained the rank of 1st Lakan Black Belt (Presas Style of Philipino Stick Fighting) in 2006. In 2004 he started training in the Wing Tsun system and recently attained the 12th Student Grade. He is currently working toward his first Technician Level. He has also achieved the 12th Student Grade in Escrima (as taught by Rene Latosa).

Adam holds engineering and public health degrees including his doctorate from the University of California at Berkeley and is the Vice President of a local environmental engineering firm.
